“The greatest spectacle in dog walking” also known as the Mutt Strut returns to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
Mutt Strut 2019 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Mutt Strut is the annual one of a kind event that raises funds for IndyHumane Society. Your whole family, including your four legged family members, can walk the 2 ½ mile Indianapolis 500 track! Rain or shine, this event will take place and will be a wonderful time for all! Strollers and wagons are welcome too!
Join over 4,000 humans and their furry friends for this rare opportunity! Registration is available online. Participation fees are $30 for ages 16 and over and $15 for kids age 3-15. Children two years old and under are free but will not receive a t-shirt.
Pick up your t-shirt and entrance materials at the track the day of the event or ahead of time (Recommended), pickup locations are on the Mutt Strut website.
Family Fun at Mutt Strut
Don’t think your family or your pet can do the whole 2 ½ mile walk? There’s a one mile short walk for you! There will be “Paw Check” stations throughout the course in case your pet needs some TLC. You get a t-shirt for participating, but don’t leave your pets out on the fashionable fun!

Volunteer at Mutt Strut and Indy Humane
Over 200 volunteers are needed for the Mutt Strut event. Children age eight and up may volunteer with their parent or guardian. Children age 16 and up may volunteer with parent permission. Find more info about volunteering with kids at Indy Humane on Indy with Kids.
