As a parent we’ve all done it. You know, when you walk into a messy bedroom and say, “What a pigsty!” or when you catch your kids making a mess while eating or eating in a less than polite way and you call them little piggies. I know it can’t just be me… When we say these things, we are really just showing our ignorance when it comes to pigs and their habits.
Fair Oaks Farms, has created a whole new experience for your family to really get to know pigs, to learn about hog farming and farmers. Considered the “pig equivalent of a Disney-like adventure”, this is one adventure you just don’t want to miss! There are entertaining exhibits that children and adults will enjoy interacting with to learn about all things hog.
Have you taken your family to Fair Oaks Farms yet? You know, the place with the cows, the ice cream, all that good stuff? Even if you’ve already visited Fair Oaks Farms, there’s a whole new crew there. The Pig Adventure has arrived and you’ll want to be among the first of your friends to check it out! The kids will love it and everyone will walk away knowing a bit more about the little piggies we refer to in regular conversation.
The Pig Adventure is open to the public now but we’re all invited to join in for the big grand opening celebration on Monday, August 5th (included with admission). The first 500 attendees will be given an adorable plush pig for their stuffed animal collections, there will be a welcome ceremony with special guests and then after lunch, Radio Disney will be there to get everyone HOG wild as they dance to music and play games.
Interested in winning a family four pack of tickets to the Pig Adventure (tickets do not have to be used on the 5th, they can be used at a later date)? Enter below! Contest ends at 11:59pm on Thursday, August 25th. Also, check out the fun PIG CAM.
